Blake Wesley To Miss 6-8 Weeks With Torn MCL - RealGM Wiretap

Blake Wesley was just starting to get playing time in his rookie season for the San Antonio Spurs. Now, Wesley’s season will be paused for 6-8 weeks due to a torn left MCL he suffered on Sunday.

Wesley bumped knees with Jaden McDaniels of the Minnesota Timberwolves while cutting through the paint. He stayed in and shot two free throws before exiting the game.

The 6-foot-5 guard was drafted out of Notre Dame by the Spurs with the 25th pick of the 2022 NBA Draft. Wesley has seen action in two games thus far in his rookie season. After the shocking waiver of Joshua Primo, Wesley seemed poised to see regular minutes for San Antonio moving forward.
